Todd Richards
Executive Chef

Chef Todd Richards brings decades of experience shaping modern Southern cuisine to his role as Executive Chef at Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead. A longtime presence in the city’s dining scene, Richards honed his craft in the kitchens of various luxury hotels and at One Flew South, where he led the restaurant to national acclaim and James Beard recognition. A storyteller of Southern foodways, Richards has authored Soul: A Chef’s Culinary Evolution in 150 Recipes, which won the 2019 IACP Award for Best American Cookbook, and Roots, Heart & Soul, a book exploring heritage, technique, and the evolving Southern table. At Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead, he leads the hotel’s culinary program with refined technique and soulful intention, honoring the region’s history while reimagining Southern cuisine through his personal lens.

Keith Hyche
Chef de Cuisine

In the role of Chef de Cuisine, Atlanta-native Chef Keith Hyche will evolve the Brassica dining experience into a more personalized, intimate occasion in which the colors, bold flavors and stories behind each dish allow servers and guests to establish a deeper connection to the cuisine. Hyche’s journey to culinary success began at Michelin-starred Atlanta restaurant Atlas in The St. Regis Atlanta, where he progressed from dishwasher to entremetier, then commis chef, chef de partie, and eventually sous chef in 2020. Hyche’s approach artfully blends the warmth of Southern comfort with the sophistication of fine dining, embodying a seamless balance of tradition and innovation.

Cara McInerny
Assistant Director of Food & Beverage

Lifelong Georgia native Cara McInerny is staying true to her roots as she leads the collective dream of Brassica’s Southern-inspired beverage program into fruition. McInerny began her journey in the flourishing restaurant scene of Athens, Georgia, where her time at an Italian wine and martini bar sparked an interest in the craft cocktail scene and harkened back to her family line of NYC bartenders. She migrated to Atlanta, finding a home in the growing New American restaurant movement when she joined chef-driven taqueria, Holy Taco. Her time experimenting with seasonal cocktail menus and food and beverage pairing inspired her to begin a seven-year immersion with agave-based spirits, leading to a path in tequila and mezcal at Sean Brock’s former Minero and Rocket Farm’s Superica. With a mastery of fine spirits under her belt, McInerny dove into the robust Atlanta beer scene at Brick Store Pub, acclaimed for their devotion to presenting fine Belgian and craft brews. McInerny joins the Brassica team with fresh inspiration and local ties that fuel the narrative she seeks to tell of the restaurant’s Southern motif and prestigious home in The Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead. Celebrating the generous fortunes of growing seasons in the South, the beverage program at Brassica will highlight artisanal spirits that speak to the evolution of the stories and dialogues of the American cocktail.

Easter Sunday

Brassica’s annual Easter Sunday celebration has moved to Waldorf Astoria Atlanta, where guests are invited to gather for a spring-inspired brunch buffet in an elegant new setting. On Sunday, April 5th, enjoy refined holiday favorites, followed by a visit from the Easter Bunny and an egg hunt in the hotel’s lush English Gardens. Reservations are available from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM through Waldorf Astoria Atlanta’s OpenTable.
